Top Gun 2006
Welcome to Lakeland, Florida and the 18th rendition of the most prestigious event in Scale R/C aviation. This year the top spot was captured by former Mr. Top Gun, Bob Violett, flying his F-86; in addition, Bob finished 1st in the Masters Class. The Expert Class winner was Greg Hahn with his magnificent B-25. The winners in the Team Class were Mark Taylor and Paul Bageman with their superbly detailed F-100D. Our program features a total of 40 aircraft with heavy emphasis on static “in your face” detail shots so you can marvel at the incredible workmanship in these models. In addition you’ll see the highlights of the noon demos, as well as pilot interviews, awards presentations and post-award interviews with the winner of each major category. Our knowledgeable narrator, Frank Tiano, will keep you well informed and entertained.
