1999 - 21st F3A WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
For those of you not familiar with the designation F3A it refers to the form of aerobatic competition commonly called Pattern. This year the USA had the honor of hosting the World Championships in Pensacola, Florida. Our program highlights the opening ceremonies and then moves on to the Finals where the 15 top pattern pilots battle it out. There are lots of pilot interviews, flying footage for each competitor as well as the awards ceremonies. We’ll also take you for a visit to the National Museum of Naval Aviation as well as the Saturday night banquet. To top it all off we’ve included highlights from Sunday’s "unofficial" Freestyle competition.
