2000 - TOP GUN
It’s another 2 tape mega-volume! There’s just too much action to fit it all onto one tape. With approximately 60 models featured we have the most in-depth presentation of the biggest Scale event in the world. The overall winner and First Place in Designer Scale went to Jeff Foley flying a beautiful BF-109. Terry Nitsch took First Place in the Expert Category with a superb turbine-powered Rafale and the top position in Team Scale was won by Doc Bill McCallie and Ed Berton with a Zero M3 Hamp. There were quite a few brand new aircraft this year; our personal favorites were a P-40 entered by the team of Berastain and Swift and a Sikorsky S-39 Amphibian brought by Paul Donofrio and Anthony Greco. We are pleased to once-again have Frank Tiano, Mr. Top Gun, as our narrator for the 12th consecutive year; you’ll ejnoy Frank’s easygoing and extremely informative style of narration. In addition to the usual static and flight sequences our program features lots of pilot interviews, the best of the noontime demos and awards coverage. Don’t miss it!
